Hello Boys & Girls!
This week, we are learning how to draw and color a Pop Art marker illustration of Pikachu at the beach! I was inspired to do this illustration after watching the Clarion Alley Mural Art Tour on Youtube.
A lot of Murals and Street Art are in the Pop Art Style, which uses bright colors, outlining, and simple cartoon or anime images to create Art that grabs your attention, even from far away.
Markers are perfect for making Pop Art on paper because they give you solid, bright colors with a lot of control. You can use the Crayola® markers we sent home in your Club Kit To Go bag, or any markers you have at your house!
