Virtual Club
Hello everyone!
It’s me, your Art teacher Ms. Lauren!
I miss all of you so much and hope you are all finding ways to pass the time during this very unusual experience!
While we are away from each other, I’d like to share a few crafts and art projects that you can do at home with your family!
One thing that is pretty easy to do with any pieces of paper you have around the house, is make some Origami!
Turn any piece of paper into a square Origami paper like this:
Almost ALL origami is made with a square piece of paper (paper boats are an exception to this rule, they use a normal page of paper).
When folding your Origami, make sure your edges and corners line up as neatly as possible. The neater you fold, the easier your Origami will be to make.
Below I have attached a few Origami How To guides. I have posted them in order from easiest to most advanced.
I have also attached links to my favorite Youtube tutorials for Origami.
REMEMBER: Your first try at any Origami will always be the hardest, so be kind to yourself if you make mistakes and try at least 3 times to get it right.
