Summer is Coming.

Who is minding the kids?

4.2 million grade-school-aged children care for themselves on a regular basis during the summer because of scheduling and transportation challenges and the staggering expense of day care, camps and programs. Children and teens left home alone are likely to fall behind academically, drop out of high school, eat poorly and participate in unsafe and/or risky behavior.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Cruz County is working hard to make sure that that no child goes without care this summer by providing affordable, convenient, and impactful summer programs and safe places to come during the summer.

To ensure that no child is spending summer alone, please support our Summer Camp scholarship fund by clicking the button to the right or calling 831-423-3138 ext 23.
